Ali Zafar is a Pakistani singer, song writer, actor, model and painter where he is predominantly known for his singing and acting career in Bollywood. Ali Zafar started as popular musician on Pakistani television but apparently he got fame in Hindi film Industry in acting career. Ali Zafar has made his debut in Bollywood with the Satire comedy film Tere Bin Laden which was a box-office success. He later got popularity for his acting performances in films like Chasme Baddoor, Mere Brother Ki Dulhania, Kill Dill and Dear Zindagi as well. Early Life Ali Zafar is also known as Ali Mohammad Zafar born on 18 May, 1980 in Lahore, Pakistan. He was born in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan in a Punjabi family. His parents were Mohammad Zafarullah and Kanwal Ameen were the professors at the University of Punjab. Ali Zafar has done his early education at the C.A.A. Public School. He has later completed his graduation from the two much known universities as Government College of Lahore and National College of Arts.
Career Ali Zafar has started his career as sketch artist before he was into music or movies. He worked at Pearl Continental Hotel situated in Lahore. Zafar has sung song ‘ Jugnuon se bhar de aanchal’ which was featured in the 2003 released film Shararat. He later made his official debut in music industry with the album Huqa Paani which was turned out as a huge success. He has won various awards in music like ‘Best Male Artist’ and ‘Best Album’. After being one of the most popular musician and pop star in Pakistan. He made his television debut with the series Kanch Ke Par, Landa Bazar and Kollege Jeans. His songs as ‘ Channo’ and ‘Rangeen’ from album Dillagi Mein Jo Bee Jaye was took by Indian musicians-composer Himesh Reshammiya and Pritam in the films like Ashiq Banaya Apne. Ali Zafar has released his second Album titled as Masty. His music video single ‘Dekha’ was the most expensive music video produced in Pakistan. Ali Zafar was first offered film Khuda Ke Liye but he denied it due to some personal reasons. He later made his debut in Bollywood with the film Tere Bin Laden released in 2010 which was directed by Abhishek Sharma. The film was a major box-office success but apparently got banned in Pakistan. He also appeared in the film Luv Ka the end released in 2011. Ali Zafar later got a significant role in romantic comedy film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan where he was featured along Imran Khan and Katrina Kaif. Following in 2012, he did London, Paris, New York featured opposite Aditi Rao Hydari. He was also featured in the David Dhawan directorial comedy film Chasme Baddoor released in 2013 which was a huge superhit. He also did a film titled Total Siyaapa and later did Kill Dil along with Ranvir Singh and Govinda.
